Checkers & Rally’s Feasting Gloves campaign: a woman pulls on an elbow-length napkin-paper glove beside the headline "Eating just got seriously serious" and a double cheeseburger

Checkers & Rally’s committed to never putting the food down. With gloves made of restaurant-grade napkin paper.

Unproduced concept · the Feasting Gloves, a product invention and campaign in print and copy.

The Feasting Gloves copy panel: “Checkers & Rally’s Feasting Gloves. Eating just got seriously, serious,” above the full body copy

The double drive-thru chain, for people who are really, really hungry. Too hungry to put the food down.

So the campaign invented a product: the Feasting Gloves, elbow-length and made of napkin paper.

The hunger

Really, really hungry people don’t have time to wipe.

When you’re really, really hungry and hankering for a Checkers & Rally’s meal, you don’t have time to put down your food to clean off your feasting mouth or hands, nor do you want to, for that matter.

The invention

Put down your juicy burger to wipe your mouth? That’s crazy talk.

Made of 100% restaurant quality grade napkin paper, the gloves are designed to handle the sloppiest of messes. Feasting on a burger? No problem. Mouth plowing through a box of wings? Don’t worry. Cheese fries to go? Keep on driving.

The voice

Just eat, wipe and eat again.

The concept’s promise: keep face and hands clean without putting the food down. One product gag carried the positioning and the tone of voice.
